We want your shopping experience to be as smooth & reliable as possible. Outlined in the text below are the terms and conditions for this website.




Delivery Charges




Our prices are calculated in accordance with current Royal Mail Rates.

The delivery charges contained on this website are as precise as the information given to us by Royal Mail, and are therefore subject to change without notice.

All orders above 6Kg must be ordered by e-mail or telephone, as the cheapest delivery method will have to be arranged. Collection will sometimes be possible, but only if a large bulk of records is bought & paid for in advance.





Delivery Times




Orders placed before 3.00PM (GMT) are sent on the same day, subject to stock availability.

Here are some guidelines for typical delivery times (you'll be notified by e-mail or telephone if there's a delay to your order) :

  • UK orders 1-3 working days

  • EU orders 3-5 working days

  • USA, Canada & other Zone 2 destinations 5-7 working days

  • Australia, New Zeland, Japan & ROW 7-10 working days






  • Packaging, Signing for your parcel & Non-Delivery




    Records are mailed in new cardboard envelopes with card stiffeners, or card boxes for larger orders. CDs and other small merchandise are sent in Jiffy bags.

    We advise you to ensure someone is present at the delivery address, since UK-bound parcels will require a signature upon delivery (when applicable). Parcels sent Internationally will only require a signature if a "signed for" service is selected & paid for at the checkout.

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded

  • Royal Mail Special Delivery

  • Royal Mail Airmail Signed For


  • We do not accept any responsibilty if the courier / postal service do not deliver on time for whatever reason.

    If your order is returned to us UNDELIVERED or NOT COLLECTED you will be held responsible and charged for all re-shipping costs.





    Missing Orders




    In the unlikely event that an order is not delivered, please contact us by one of the following methods :

    PLEASE NOTE

    We cannot investigate lost or missing parcels until :

  • UK Customers - 7 working days have elapsed
  • Overseas Customers - 28 days have elapsed






  • Returns Procedure




    We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchases - so should any items be faulty, incorrect or simply unwanted gifts, you can return them as outlined below.

    Please e-mail us on sales@brokenwax.co.uk for a returns number before returning any goods. Post the item(s) to the address above, including a brief note with your name & address, order ID, returns number and short explanation of the reason for return.

    There is no need to return the whole order if only one item is incorrect or faulty. Please feel free to call or e-mail us if you have any queries.

    EXCEPTIONS

    Unwanted items will only be exchanged, not refunded.

    We supply soundclips & track listings for most records / CDs. No refunds can be made if you simply change your mind or find out you've ordered the wrong mix / track. Please ensure you have the correct item(s) before payment is made.





    General Terms




    LIABILITY

    BrokenWax.co.uk accepts no responsibility for fraudulent credit card transactions that may occur as a result of credit card details being placed on the internet.


    YOUR ORDER

    We make every effort to ensure the goods supplied are of the highest quality, reach you in the condition stated for each item, and are delivered promptly.


    PURCHASING FROM US

    By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying said goods (including passing your personal details onto couriers & other subcontractors). Personal details can be removed from our database by written request. No property or title of the goods shall pass from BrokenWax.co.uk to the customer until payment has been received in full.


    AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

    All orders and special offers are subject to availability. Our automated system calculates real-time stock levels, but there may be very occasional exceptions. Customers are always informed if an item is not in stock.


    CUSTOMER SERVICE

    If you're not happy with your order (or the service received), you may contact our customer services department by calling +44(0) 208 959 1927, or by e-mailing us on sales@brokenwax.co.uk. We promise to reply promptly and solve any problems you may have (subject to UK law).

    Please remember all orders are subject to availability. E&OE. Our terms & conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.


    IMPORT DUTY & TAXES

    It is your responsibility as the customer to pay all applicable customs fees and taxes for your country. If you refuse to pay these charges then your order may be abandoned and you will lose your goods as well as your money. These taxes are only applicable for non UK & non-EU countries.


    DISCLAIMER

    We may refuse to take an order if, in the circumstances, we feel you have given us false or mis-leading information which could or is deemed as a commercial threat to BrokenWax.co.uk. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without prior notification. We do not distribute customer details or e-mail addresses to third parties. Marketing e-mails are only sent to consenting mailing list subscribers and your details can be removed at any time. The views and opinions of BrokenWax.co.uk are not to be taken necessarily as fact. Any contract between us and you shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over the dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contracts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.





    Data Protection & Privacy




    We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address & credit/debit card details. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening, but you will not be able to use our checkout system if you do. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
